Union Health and Family Welfare ministry have accepted Neet score validity for 3 years by the Medical Council of India (MCI) Board of governors. The ministry official said this is being done to help students who might be leaving outside India and are willing to come back after becoming the doctor.
This will be very useful to MBBS students who study in foreign countries.
Neet( National eligibility cum entrance test)is compulsory to study medical degree abroad .about seven thousand students go to study abroad to study medicine every year.
The government was taken to encourage students for medical education.
According to the present scenario the validity of Neet score is 1 year (the year of attempt). Now, it has been extended to 3 years in India. Neet is now compulsory for admission in any foreign university.
